Special Aid
Members and their families may be eligible for special medical aid.
Medical services or equipment for a severe medical condition can sometimes impose a financial burden or hardship on our members’ families.
ECECAF plays a supportive role in providing financial assistance where the need has been demonstrated and is not covered by any other plan or service.
The Board of Trustees review these situations on a case by case basis. Examples would be bath / wheelchair lifts, sidewalk ramps, wheelchairs, lift chairs, scooters, and motorized beds.
